We all have a subconscious money container and we also all have our own money trauma. Before you can start manifesting money, it’s important to understand where you are in your journey with these two topics.

What is a Money Container?

Your money container is the subconscious limit you’ve placed on how much wealth you allow yourself to receive. It’s the amount of money your brain feels safe receiving at this moment in time. If you find that no matter what you do, you receive the same amount of money every month, that is the limit of your money container.

Before you can expand your money container though, you need to work through your money trauma. This could’ve developed from watching your parents handle money growing up, or struggles you went through in early adulthood trying to make money and stand on your own.

Understanding where you stand with both of these is key to shifting your subconscious money container to a higher number.

Implement the 80/20 Rule

Manifesting money comes down to 80% internal work and 20% strategy.

While yes, it does take action to see more money coming into your life, that’s not all that matters. It’s very easy to get caught up in wanting to create a strategy to manifest more money and focus on the activities you can be doing, but that’s only 20% of the equation.

Think back to a time money came to you unexpectedly. Maybe you received a surprise gift, found $50 in a jacket pocket or got a discount on a service you weren’t expecting. It can feel like you manifested new money but it’s important not to get caught up in short-term thinking. Cash isn’t everything, cash flow is.

Inspired action is what will ultimately lead to large money manifestations in the long term.

80% of what will bring more money into your life is internal. How you talk, think and feel about money will affect how easily money comes to you. If you approach a sales call with a lack of confidence, chances are, you won’t sign the client and you won’t make the money.

Feeling worthy of money is just as important as creating opportunities to earn it.

Set Up your Environment for Success

Whether you work from your home office or go to a corporate building every day, you need to have an environment that welcomes the flow of money. A cluttered, stagnant space can block opportunities, while an intentionally organized desk can bring in new cash flow.

If you’re familiar with feng shui practices , you will have heard about setting up your office for wealth and prosperity. Things like placing a small fountain to encourage financial flow, adding thriving plants to symbolize growth, or positioning your desk to face the door for a clear view of opportunities are all great places to start, but this isn’t a blog post about feng shui, so I’ll leave it there.

What I really want you to focus on when it comes to setting up your environment are three things that might be sabotaging you from manifesting money: people, cleanliness, and energy.

1. The People Around You

Think about who you interact with daily in your workspace. Are they uplifting and supportive, or are they bringing negativity into your space and constantly complaining about money, clients, or business?

The energy of the people around you can shape your mindset. If scarcity-driven conversations surround you, it’s easy to absorb that negativity. Be intentional about engaging with people who believe in abundance and success.

2. The Cleanliness Factor

A messy, disorganized workspace can create mental clutter that blocks creativity, focus, and cash flow. If your desk is drowning in paperwork, old receipts and dirty dishes, your brain might subconsciously associate work with stress and overwhelm instead of opportunity.

Clear out unnecessary items, organize your finances, and create a light and inspiring workspace.

3. The Energy of the Space

Beyond physical aspects, how does your office feel when you walk in?

Does it feel like a space where money wants to hang out? Stale air, dim lighting, or outdated decor can make a space feel stagnant. Open the windows, bring in fresh flowers, burn a candle, or play uplifting music to shift the energy. When you turn your space into one that feels vibrant, you’ll naturally manifest more money.

Assess your workspace and remember that small shifts can lead to big financial breakthroughs.
